Ceramic With Nano Tech, Semi metallic Multi-compound, Sintered

1 review for Sram Force eTap AXS Disc brake pads

I’m running the grey semi metallic multi compound on the front of my gravel bike with the yellow sintered on the rear. 200 miles in would say this is a good combination for Devon & Cornwall’s steep hills. Quick bed in on the front with better than OEM power, similar feel and lots of power. A little noisier but no one else would notice. The yellow sintered pads on the back are super powerful with a good amount of feel. Very noisy but stand up well to long road downhills that ate OEM pads. Tend to get very hot so worth running pads a little further away from disk to stop post decent rubbing – cools to silence in 30 seconds of riding. I fitted a pair of yellow sintered first and then bought a pair of greys a month later, swopping to the above setup for a better feel. Running 140mm(I think) discs front and rear and the back one always felt underpowered. This setup addresses that issue. Very pleased!
