Over heat on long desents but come back very quickly. Last 2 races and 2 practices across 4 days. i will buy again

Thank you for the feedback, we really appreciate it.
That is a fair review. Our Semi-Metallic compound is not designed as our full race compound it is more of a reliable all-round trail/e-bike pad with good bite, control and value. On long race descents, especially over repeated practice and race runs, they can reach their heat limit, which is why you felt them overheat but then come back quickly once cooled.
For the type of riding you are doing, especially long descents and racing, you would be better suited to our Factory Racing or Enduro Pro line-up, as those compounds are built for higher heat, stronger fade resistance and more demanding downhill use.
That said, two races and two practice days over four days is still a solid result from the Semi-Metallic pads, and we’re glad to hear you would buy again.
