Product Description

The Brembo GR-PRO 220mm Rotor has been developed as part of Brembo’s complete GR-PRO braking system, bringing decades of MotoGP, World Superbike and Formula 1 braking expertise to mountain biking. Designed specifically to work in harmony with the GR-PRO caliper, this rotor delivers exceptional braking consistency, heat management and control on the most demanding descents.

Unlike conventional MTB rotors, the GR-PRO uses a 2.3mm thick stainless steel braking track combined with an 18mm braking surface to improve thermal management and maximise heat exchange during sustained braking. The result is more consistent lever feel, improved fade resistance and predictable braking performance when the trail gets steep.

The rotor features a motorcycle-inspired spoke layout, engineered to optimise stiffness, mechanical strength and weight. This design philosophy comes directly from Brembo’s motorsport heritage, helping maintain braking precision under extreme loads while reducing unwanted flex.

Whether you’re riding downhill, enduro, bike park laps or full-power e-MTBs, the Brembo GR-PRO 200mm Rotor is built to provide confidence-inspiring braking performance when it matters most.

Key Features

  • 220mm rotor diameter
  • 2.3mm thick stainless steel rotor
  • 18mm braking surface
  • Designed specifically for the Brembo GR-PRO braking system
  • Motorcycle-inspired spoke design

Why Choose the Brembo GR-PRO Rotor? Brembo’s philosophy is not simply to build individual brake components but to engineer a complete braking system. The GR-PRO rotor has been designed alongside the caliper, master cylinder, pads and hoses to deliver maximum consistency, modulation and control under sustained load.

The thicker 2.3mm construction improves heat capacity and rotor stability, helping riders maintain consistent braking performance even during prolonged alpine descents and race stages.
