HEL components are purpose-built to withstand harsh riding conditions, but real-world riding doesn’t always go to plan. When something goes wrong, HEL and Gorilla Brakes are here to support you.

Warranty Coverage

  • Lifetime Warranty on all HEL brake lines
  • 12-month warranty on brake systems, mainline components, accessories, and spare parts

The warranty period begins from the date of purchase. If the product was purchased directly from Gorilla Brakes, the warranty period begins from the date of dispatch.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you purchased your HEL product through a local bike shop or online distributor, please contact them directly to initiate your warranty claim. HEL works closely with approved dealers to ensure claims are handled quickly and efficiently, minimising downtime.

HEL Crash Replacement Scheme

Crashes are part of riding. Bikes get slammed into rocks, clipped on trees, and sent into places they probably shouldn’t go. HEL rides too — they understand that accidents happen.

If your HEL brake system is damaged in a crash outside of the warranty period, HEL offers a crash replacement scheme to help get you back on the trail.

How Crash Replacement Works

  • Available to the original purchaser only
  • Non-transferable
  • Valid once per brake system within three years of the original purchase or dispatch date
  • Replacement parts must match the original model and colour
  • No upgrades, substitutions, or colour changes permitted

Depending on the damage and product availability, HEL may offer:

  • Replacement parts at a discounted rate, or
  • A rebuild service for the damaged components

This scheme exists to support riders — not to replace products that have been deliberately damaged or cosmetically mismatched due to bike changes. Claims are assessed fairly and honestly, and we ask riders to respect the spirit of the program.
