Why Recycle Your Brake Pads?

Our goal: to recycle 1 ton of metal in the first year of our program. With each brake pad weighing 30 grams, we aim to recycle 33,333 brake pads — and you can help us get there!
How the Brake Pad Recycling Program Works
We’ve made it simple and easy for you to participate in the recycling program. Here’s how it works: PLEASE NOT YOU WILL NEED TO REQUEST A LABEL ON YOUR ORDER OR SEND US AN EMAIL.
1. Order Your New Brake Pads
When you place your next order with us, you’ll receive a return label inside the package.
2. Reuse the Packaging
Once you’ve installed your new brake pads, simply put your old ones back into the same envelope the new ones came in.
3. Attach the Sticky Label
Use the sticky label included in your package and place it on the front of the envelope. This label makes it easy to return your old brake pads to us — free of charge.
4. Drop it in the Mail
Drop your package at any Royal Mail postbox or collection point. We’ve partnered with Royal Mail to ensure you don’t pay a penny for returning your old pads.
5. Earn Your Credit
Once we receive your used brake pads, we’ll apply the appropriate credit to your Gorilla Brakes account, which you can use on your next purchase. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting sustainability.
What Happens to Recycled Brake Pads?
When you return your old brake pads, we send them to our trusted recycling partner, where the metal components are extracted and repurposed for future use. By participating in the program, you help us reduce landfill waste and contribute to a greener future.
