Product Description

The Brembo GR-PRO 200mm Rotor has been developed as part of Brembo’s complete GR-PRO braking system, bringing decades of MotoGP, World Superbike and Formula 1 braking expertise to mountain biking. Designed specifically to work in harmony with the GR-PRO caliper, this rotor delivers exceptional braking consistency, heat management and control on the most demanding descents.

Unlike conventional MTB rotors, the GR-PRO uses a 2.3mm thick stainless steel braking track combined with an 18mm braking surface to improve thermal management and maximise heat exchange during sustained braking. The result is more consistent lever feel, improved fade resistance and predictable braking performance when the trail gets steep.

The rotor features a motorcycle-inspired spoke layout, engineered to optimise stiffness, mechanical strength and weight. This design philosophy comes directly from Brembo’s motorsport heritage, helping maintain braking precision under extreme loads while reducing unwanted flex.

Whether you’re riding downhill, enduro, bike park laps or full-power e-MTBs, the Brembo GR-PRO 200mm Rotor is built to provide confidence-inspiring braking performance when it matters most.

Key Features

  • 200mm rotor diameter
  • 2.3mm thick stainless steel rotor
  • 18mm braking surface
  • Designed specifically for the Brembo GR-PRO braking system
  • Motorcycle-inspired spoke design
  • Enhanced thermal management
  • Improved heat exchange control
  • High stiffness construction
  • Excellent fade resistance on long descents
  • Suitable for downhill, enduro and e-MTB use
  • 6-bolt mounting interface

Why Choose the Brembo GR-PRO Rotor? Brembo’s philosophy is not simply to build individual brake components but to engineer a complete braking system. The GR-PRO rotor has been designed alongside the caliper, master cylinder, pads and hoses to deliver maximum consistency, modulation and control under sustained load.

The thicker 2.3mm construction improves heat capacity and rotor stability, helping riders maintain consistent braking performance even during prolonged alpine descents and race stages.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. This listing is for the Brembo GR-PRO 200mm rotor, developed as part of Brembo’s flagship mountain bike braking system.

The Brembo GR-PRO rotor uses a 2.3mm thick stainless steel braking track, providing increased stiffness, improved heat management and greater braking consistency on long descents.

The Brembo GR-PRO rotor is designed for downhill, enduro, bike park and full-power e-MTB riding where maximum braking performance and fade resistance are required.

Brembo designed this rotor for the integrated GR-PRO system. Compatibility with other brake brands is not confirmed by this listing; rotor thickness alone does not establish compatibility.

Brembo GR-PRO rotors use a six-bolt hub interface. Confirm your hub and bicycle specifications before fitting.

The rotor features a thicker 2.3mm construction, an 18mm braking surface and a motorcycle-inspired spoke design developed to improve stiffness, thermal stability and braking consistency under extreme conditions.

Yes. The Brembo GR-PRO rotor is designed to handle the increased weight, speed and braking loads associated with modern e-MTBs.

Yes. The 2.3mm braking track and 18mm friction surface are specifically engineered to improve heat dissipation and maintain consistent braking performance during sustained braking.

Brembo specifies GR-PRO semi-metallic pads for its integrated braking system. This listing does not confirm compatibility with other metallic or semi-metallic pad compounds.
