Lifetime Warranty and Statutory Rights

Lifetime Warranty and Statutory Rights

Effective date: 28 August 2026

Every product purchased directly from Gorilla Brakes on or after the effective date is covered by the Gorilla Brakes lifetime commercial warranty described below. Any broader warranty promise made when an earlier product was purchased will continue to be honoured.

Who and what is covered

The warranty applies to the original retail purchaser, worldwide, for as long as that purchaser owns the product and throughout the product’s usable life. It covers manufacturing and material defects. Proof of purchase is required.

For consumable products such as brake pads, coverage continues until the friction material reaches its published wear limit. Normal wear is not a manufacturing or material defect.

What is not covered

  • Normal wear, contamination or expected deterioration through use.
  • Accidental or crash damage, misuse, neglect, incorrect storage or unauthorised modification.
  • Incorrect installation, fitment, maintenance or failure to follow published torque and assembly instructions.
  • Cosmetic surface wear or normal colour change.
  • For fasteners and titanium parts: cross-threading, over-tightening or galling caused by incorrect assembly.

Making a claim

Email support@gorillabrakes.com with your order number or proof of purchase, a description of the problem and clear photographs. Do not return a product until the return has been authorised.

For an accepted claim, Gorilla Brakes will repair the product, replace it with the same or an equivalent product, or, when neither is reasonably available, refund the original purchase price. Gorilla Brakes covers pre-authorised standard claim postage.

Third-party products

Products made by another manufacturer and purchased directly from Gorilla Brakes are covered by this Gorilla Brakes lifetime commercial warranty. Any manufacturer warranty is additional and does not replace or reduce this cover.

Statutory rights

This commercial warranty is additional to your statutory consumer rights and does not limit or replace them. UK consumers retain all rights relating to faulty, damaged, unsafe or misdescribed goods. EU consumers have a minimum two-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery, and national law may provide longer protection.

For change-of-mind returns, see our Returns Policy.
