Hayes Dominion A4 and T4 Disc Brakes: High Performance Brakes for Gravity Riders
Hayes Dominion A4 and T4 disc brakes are two of the most popular high performance brakes for gravity riders. Both brakes offer powerful stopping power, excellent modulation, and consistent performance in all weather conditions.
The Dominion A4 is the more affordable of the two brakes, but it still offers a lot of features that make it a great choice for gravity riders. The A4 features a four piston caliper with a cold forged construction for strength and durability. The brake also features Hayes' QuickBite² system, which provides fast and consistent burnishing for improved performance.
The Dominion T4 is the lighter premium option, using a carbon lever blade and titanium hardware. These construction changes do not by themselves establish a different hydraulic response from the A4.
