LEWIS Brake Pads

Find Gorilla Brakes pads for your Lewis caliper. Start with the full model name: LV / BB Flatmount / LV2, LH4 / AE / LHP S4 / LV4, or LHP+U4 / LHP+U4T / LHT / LHT Ultimate. Choose the matching model group, then compare the compounds available for that fitment.

Check fitment and compatible models

Match the full model name on your Lewis caliper before choosing your pads.

Use the matching group: LV / BB Flatmount / LV2; LH4 / AE / LHP S4 / LV4; or LHP+U4 / LHP+U4T / LHT / LHT Ultimate. Gorilla Brakes has confirmed that the eight LHP+U4 / LHP+U4T pad products also fit LHT and LHT Ultimate. Other Lewis model groups must still be matched separately.

Choose a compound for your Lewis brakes

For e-bikes, heavy cargo or long descents, compare Enduro Pro Ultimate Orange for braking performance and pad life with Enduro Pro Semi Metallic Blue for versatile braking and heat management. Choose the version listed for your Lewis model.

For conventional bicycles, compare Sintered for wet or muddy riding and Factory Racing Organic for dry XC, road or gravel. The guide calls the everyday compounds Performance; you can shop them through the Standard Compounds card. Factory Racing Organic can wear very quickly in wet and muddy conditions. Sintered generates substantial heat, which can transfer to the caliper faster than with other compounds in our range. For high-heat applications, we recommend Enduro Pro and Factory Racing compounds.

LEWIS Brake Pads FAQs

A little help with fitment, compounds and getting ready to ride.

How do I identify the right Lewis pad shape?

Read the full model name on the caliper and choose its model group. LV / BB Flatmount / LV2 and LH4 / AE / LHP S4 / LV4 use separate groups. Check the selected product's compatibility list and compare the pad outline with your existing pads before ordering.

Do LHP S4 and LHP+U4 use the same pads?

Do not choose by the LHP name alone. LHP S4 belongs with LH4 / AE / LV4; LHP+U4 and LHP+U4T belong to a different group. Match the complete caliper name to the selected product.

Which LHP+U4 / LHP+U4T options also fit LHT and LHT Ultimate?

Gorilla Brakes has confirmed these eight options for both LHT models: Sintered, Semi-Metallic, Ceramic, Factory Racing, Factory Racing Stealth, Factory Racing Organic, Enduro Pro Ultimate and Enduro Pro Semi-Metallic. Check the individual product's model list. This confirmation does not make the other Lewis model groups interchangeable.

Can the front and rear brakes use the same pads?

Yes, if both calipers use the same confirmed pad shape. Check each caliper separately if the front and rear brakes differ. Check the selected product's pack contents when ordering for both brakes.

Do new Lewis-compatible pads need bedding in?

Yes. Follow our installation and bedding-in guides. Before reusing a rotor, check its condition, wear limit and compatibility with the chosen compound. The guides also explain rotor preparation when changing compounds.

What if I cannot identify my Lewis caliper?

Contact Gorilla Brakes before ordering. Send clear photos of the caliper, its markings and both sides of the old pad, with pad dimensions if possible. We can help you identify the fitment before you choose a compound.
