Shimano Saint Disc Brake Pads – All Compounds Options

Find the correct Gorilla Brakes pads for Shimano Saint BR-M810 or BR-M820 calipers. This range also includes products for ZEE BR-M640; match the exact caliper and pad backing before choosing a compound.

Check fitment and compatible models

Match the full caliper code and pad backing before ordering. The Saint name covers different generations, and cooling-fin shapes must not be treated as interchangeable.

Saint BR-M810: Shimano specifies the unfinned D pad family. Its original service references are D01S and D02S; current D02S-MX and D03S-RX compatibility lists include this caliper. Choose an appropriate unfinned D replacement.

Saint BR-M820: Shimano lists unfinned D02S-MX / D03S-RX replacements and H-type finned options such as H03A-RF / H03C-MF. Match the specific pad version to your caliper.

ZEE BR-M640: this is a ZEE caliper, not Saint. Shimano lists D-type unfinned pads and H03C finned pads for it. Use only the matching product-specific fitment.

The Gorilla Finned Aluminium option in this range lists BR-M820 and BR-M640. It does not list BR-M810; do not choose that finned product for M810 without separate clearance confirmation.

Shimano Saint Disc Brake Pads – All Compounds Options FAQs

A little help with fitment, compounds and getting ready to ride.

Which pad family does my Saint caliper need?

Read the complete caliper code. BR-M810 uses unfinned D-type pads. BR-M820 has specified unfinned D02S/D03S and finned H03A/H03C options. ZEE BR-M640 is a separate ZEE model with its own matching D/H options. Choose the exact Gorilla product listing; one generation’s fitment does not confirm every other backing plate.

Which of the available compounds should I compare?

Enduro Pro Ultimate Orange focuses on braking performance and pad life for demanding descents and heavier loads. Enduro Pro Semi Metallic Blue combines versatile braking with heat management for trail riding, touring and long descents.

Which compounds are e-bike rated, and which do you recommend for heavy loads?
