Start with the brake caliper brand and full model code, then compare the pad outline and any specified thickness. Use the model filters or brake-pad finder to narrow the options. Choose the compound only after confirming the exact product fits; a bike brand, motor name or piston count alone is not enough.

How should I choose the compound once I have matched the pads?

Choose from the compounds offered for the exact pad shape you need, using Compare compounds for the riding guidance. Check the rotor’s permitted pad material as well. The same compound name on a different pad shape does not make that product compatible with your caliper.
