Gorilla Brakes - Disc Brake Compounds Explained

Included in each pair are two individual brake pads and a stainless steel spring, designed for use with one caliper

These brake pads are suitable for the following SHIMANO models:

  • SHIMANO XTR M9120 4-Piston brake pads
  • Shimano N04C N03A Disc Brake Pad 4 Piston

Gorilla produces these top-notch brake pads suitable for Shimano N04C N03A Disc Brake Pad 4 Piston. The quantity can be selected from the menu and the available compounds include Sintered, Semi-Metallic, Ceramic, as well as the new Enduro Pro Ultimate, Enduro Pro Semi-Metallic, and Enduro Pro Resin. They are designed to withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees without brake fade.

At Gorilla, we pride ourselves on developing and rigorously testing our brake pads to meet the highest quality and reliability standards. These brake pads are manufactured to last up to four times longer than OEM brake pads, and the recently improved formula enhances heat dissipation, thus maintaining performance even at 600 degrees without brake fade.

In addition to the standard Sintered, Semi-Metallic, and Ceramic options, we now offer the Enduro Pro Ultimate, the superior semi-metallic compound available, and the Enduro Pro Resin, the longest-lasting resin organic compound bicycle brake pad on the planet. In real-world and bench tests, these Enduro Pro compounds have consistently outperformed all competitors.

These brake pads are compatible with the following models:

  • SHIMANO XTR M9120 4-Piston brake pads
  • Shimano N04C N03A Disc Brake Pad 4 Piston

IMPORTANT: For optimal performance, brake pads need to be bedded in. Follow these steps:

Step 1: On a gentle downward slope, drag each brake for 20-30 seconds, alternating between the front and rear. Repeat this process 3-4 times. Step 2: On a steep descent, gradually increase lever pressure while dragging the brakes for 15-20 seconds until the bike nearly comes to a complete stop. Repeat this process 3-4 times.

Remember, the front pads will heat up more than the rear ones. After bedding in, switch the pads from front to rear for the best stopping power.

Enjoy your ride with Gorilla Brakes!
