Match the exact model and existing pad shape. The listed HY/RD and Spyre flat-mount calipers use this SP10.11-family shape, while Hylex flat-mount uses a different F10-series shape. On G-Spec FMR HD-M803 these pads fit the front caliper only; on HD-R802 they fit the rear caliper only. The opposite calipers use F10-series pads.

Why some curves stop earlier

Each test run stopped when the measured caliper temperature reached 120°C, the stopping threshold used to protect the piston seals in this test setup. The horizontal axis shows rotor temperature. Sintered’s shorter curve means the caliper reached the limit at a lower rotor temperature.

They have not been truly put to the test just yet, but already seem to have vastly improved braking compared to the previous pads. Fitted easily and without any problems, after arriving promptly.

I placed my order late one evening and I have to admit I was not entirely on the ball. I was surprised and very impressed to receive a call the next morning from Gorilla as they suspected I had ordered the wrong disc rotor for my calliper. The order was amended and parts arrived promptly.
I fitted the parts on my old winter bike, a Specialized Diverge I bought second hand with mechanical disc brakes which have never been good. It was getting to the stage that I was going to permanently demote it to the turbo trainer.
I have been out for a few rides and the brakes have bedded in a treat. I am so happy as it’s made an ok bike good again and I now feel safe riding it. Thanks Gorilla brakes, I will certainly be back for more parts.
