E-bike and everyday riding

Enduro Pro Resin is an e-bike-rated compound for everyday trail, road and gravel riding. Use this pad shape only with the compatible calipers listed here, and match the complete brake setup to your bike and total load.

Rotor compatibility

This compound is suitable for all bicycle disc brake rotor types, including rotors marked “resin pads only”.

Rotor diameter and thickness must meet your brake manufacturer’s specifications. Check rotor condition and minimum permitted thickness before fitting new pads.

Compound performance

Enduro Pro Resin

An Enduro Pro option for riders who value braking feel on everyday trail, road and gravel routes.

The ratings describe the compound. They do not promise silent braking or a fixed service life, and they are not separate scores for each pad shape or caliper.

About this test

The horizontal axis shows rotor temperature; the vertical axis shows caliper temperature. At the same rotor temperature, a lower curve means a cooler caliper in this test setup. Consider this alongside braking power, pad life and correct fitment when choosing pads for long descents or heavier loads.

Indicative test comparison. Results relate to the tested samples and setup.

Compare braking power across compounds

All eight curves use the Shimano XT RT86 rotor. Choose a compound to highlight its tested result.

Why some curves stop earlier

Each test run stopped when the measured caliper temperature reached 120°C, the stopping threshold used to protect the piston seals in this test setup. The horizontal axis shows rotor temperature. Sintered’s shorter curve means the caliper reached the limit at a lower rotor temperature.

About this test

This chart compares braking power for bedded-in pads, all tested with the Shimano XT RT86 rotor. The horizontal axis shows rotor temperature (°C); the vertical axis shows braking power (W). Each curve represents the compound and backing-plate configuration named in the selector. Compare curves within their plotted ranges; no result is shown beyond the end of a curve.

Follow Enduro Pro Resin for this compound. This chart compares braking power against rotor temperature.

Test context: All pads shown can be good choices for their intended use when correctly matched to the bike and rotor, installed and bedded in. A lower or shorter curve does not by itself make a pad a poor everyday choice. Real riding temperatures depend on the route, total load, braking technique and setup; this test does not establish a temperature limit for the average rider. Rotor choice can substantially affect braking power, but these results apply to the tested combinations. This comparison does not guarantee the same improvement on another bike or identify one best pad for every rider.

Your questions

About these brake pads

Fitment, materials and performance explained.

Which Intend Trinity models take Enduro Pro Resin?

Enduro Pro Resin is listed for the Intend Trinity EN and DH only. Check the marking on your caliper before ordering.

What riding is Enduro Pro Resin designed for?

This steel-backed resin pad is designed for everyday trail, road and gravel riding on the Trinity EN or DH.

What should I check on my rotor before choosing a compound?

Read the marking on the rotor and check which pad materials its manufacturer permits. If it is marked “resin only”, choose a resin compound approved for that rotor and your Trinity model.

How many pads do I need for both brakes?

One pack contains two pads and one spring for one caliper. For front and rear, check the model of each caliper and order one compatible pair for each.
