Rotor compatibility

This compound is suitable for all bicycle disc brake rotor types, including rotors marked “resin pads only”.

Rotor diameter and thickness must meet your brake manufacturer’s specifications. Check the rotor’s condition and minimum permitted thickness before fitting new pads.

Why some curves stop earlier

Each test run stopped when the measured caliper temperature reached 120°C, the stopping threshold used to protect the piston seals in this test setup. The horizontal axis shows rotor temperature. Sintered’s shorter curve means the caliper reached the limit at a lower rotor temperature.

Only sent half the order 2 out of 4 selerate pads, however … upon bringing up the discrepancy they very quickly sorted out the error and the remaining part of the order is on route. Happy with the contact and sales ect ,looking forward to testing the pads soon. Upon initial inspection the pads themselves look well made - ill update after bedding in and use

Hi, the Purple pads are a much softer compound, so you’ll get more initial bite and a stronger braking feel.

If you’re looking for the same braking performance as your friend’s bike, I’d recommend trying our Purple pads. You can send the Enduro Pro pads back to us and we’ll swap them for the Purple compound free of charge.

You should then get the same, if not better, braking performance than your friend.
