Early days for these which is why it’s 4 and not 5 stars. The fit is great and they have been quiet and strong so far. Just need to see how they last to go to 5 stars

I used gorilla pads in my road bike and found them easy to bed in and they have given me good braking all winter. It was an obvious choice to order gorilla pads for my Mtb. After the post office lost them gorillas customer service was top notch, the second set arrived with the first the next day. Gorilla supply good pads with perfect service and I can’t see me using anyone else now.

Both sets of SRAM G2 brake pads I bought failed before the pads wore out. The pad detached from the backing after about 10 short rides.

Thanks for your feedback — we’re sorry to hear about this experience.
Pad material separating from the backing plate is extremely uncommon, so we’d really like to investigate what may have happened here.

Please contact our support team with a couple of photos of the pads and your brake setup and we’ll be happy to look into it and help resolve this for you.

I spoke to Gorilla as I wasn’t sure which compound to use for the application I needed pads for, they was very helpful and recommended the Semi metallic. The pad works perfect mated to the Hope floating discs.

I don't normally do reviews, but these pads are so far ahead of the clarks and uberbikes pads I'd been using it would be rude not to shout about them. Predictable both in the dry and in the grimy freezing cold of winter. Consistent throughout their lifespan, and practically silent unless you're out in a soaking downpour, at which point the polite chirp they make when you first touch the discs is the least of your worries.
