Gorilla Brakes supplies brake pads for a wide range of SRAM brakes, including Guide, Rival, Level, Avid elixir and Code models.

SRAM was founded in Chicago in 1987 by three friends. They quickly grew the company through the 90’s. They did this by adapting technology from the road bike market to mountain bikes in 1991. Further product development and acquisitions during that decade and beyond lead to massive expansion. SRAM has become one of the ‘big three’ bicycle component manufacturers globally.

After focussing on the growing mountain bike market through the 90’s, SRAM began to enter other markets in 2006. The group now manufacture products for mountain, road bike, time-trial, triathlon, fitness bikes and e-bikes.

SRAM support competitive cycling through sponsorship of numerous professional events all over the World. Including Ironman and Amgen Tour of California as well as star triathletes Alistair and Jonathon Brownlee, Jan Frodeno and Javier Gomez.
